Services, Prices and Bookings

All prices above are guidelines only and will be discussed during in person assessment before any grooming begins. I will be as accurate in my assessment as I can, but sometimes issues are not spotted until grooming has begun. If there is anything serious I will contact you immediately.

A deposit will be taken at the time of booking of a flat fee of £35.00 (by bank transfer or paypal). Let me know your email or mobile number when booking and I can send you the details and a confirmation that the booking has been accepted. This will be subtracted from the final price of the grooming session plus the travel fee. For claw clips only then the price plus travel will taken in advance as a deposit. 

For cancellations with more than 48hrs notice the deposit will be refunded in full or transferred to a new appointment. If less than 48hrs notice the deposit is non refundable.

The balance must be paid the same day as the grooming (accepted forms of payment are cash, bank transfer or paypal). I can provide bank and paypal details as required.

Any mats or pelting of the coat may need to be shaved and may involve a surcharge (discussed at in person assessment). Every care is taken to ensure no damage is made to the cats skin underneath, but if the matting/pelting has been present for some time there may already be bald patches and skin irritation. If any shaving needs to be done as much of the cats non matted fur will be saved as possible.

Please be aware that if a cat is shaved it will change the appearance to any other cats in your household or locally as well as to you. There may be some confusion from other cats initially if their shape has changed. It should settle quickly once they make the connection and realise it isn't a new cat. 

Your cat must be considered healthy enough to be groomed and if they have a heart murmur or heart condition I need to be made aware of this before grooming begins. Please also let me know the age of the cat when booking as well as any medical issues in general.

Please ensure that your cat/s are available prior to grooming and are indoors. I need access to a space to groom them where they are ideally no hiding spaces (especially underneath a sofa etc or behind something heavy). If your catflap locks please lock it before I arrive. Bathrooms and kitchens make for really good grooming areas depending on the space available.

I clean all equipment (including clippers, brushes and combs) between grooming each cat with anti-bacterial disinfectant as well as the surfaces used for grooming. I change at your house and wear a fresh uniform each visit to reduce cross contamination as much as possible.

All products used are specifically formulated for cats. I used JP Pet wipes, shampoos and conditioning sprays which are excellent quality and are tested on humans before being used on animals as well as my own ear and eye wash formulation specifically for cats.

I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and I am fully DBS checked.
