We are so excited to have won the award Cat Groomer of the year in 2024 at the Animal Star Awards. The awards have been running for 9 years now and this is the first time they have had a cat grooming category separate from dog grooming. To be the first winner of this category is a real honour, espeically as a holistic and welfare based groomer who only specialises in cats.

Our range of individual herbs and herbal packs are finally coming soon. This has been something I have wanted to do officially for years now and I have been selling herbs to customers for some time under the radar. It's time though to launch our online shop properly. Here you will find herbs that cats love sold individually or in packs geared towards behavioural and health issues all to be used following self selection guidelines. Who Am I?

I am Katie and am a master level holistic mobile cat groomer and feline complementary holistic therapist living in Liverpool, UK. I trained at The Cat Grooming School in London in 2020 and have two years prior experience as a professional cat sitter. I cover the whole of the North West and beyond, drop me a message and we can have a chat about your cat grooming requirements. I am also a qualified Animal Reiki Teacher in Let Animals Lead® and offer Reiki sessions for you and your felines as well as Botanical Self Selection/Zoopharmacognosy, feline nutrition, feline behaviour with more services coming soon.

What I Do

By coming to your own home I eliminate the need to take your cat to the vets or grooming salon which can be a very stressful process for you and your cat. I only work with cats (not dogs) so will not have too many unfamiliar scents on me. My goal is to complete the grooming to the highest possible standard while keeping the cat happy and relaxed as a priority.

I also offer a range of other feline services mostly for the purposes of wellbeing, stress relief and palliative care for you and your cats, focusing on connecting you and your feline friends more closely.

I worked as a cat grooming tutor for the iPet Network www.ipetnetwork.co.uk from their Four Paws salon in Lymm in the North West from March 2022 - September 2023. I taught cat grooming for 3 different levels of OFQUAL recognised courses.

I write regular articles for the Feline Focus in Total Grooming Magazine www.totalgroomingmagazine.co.uk every month and am always happy to collaborate so do get in touch if you are wanting anything cat related.

Cat microchipping

As of June 2024 it is a legal requirement for all cats in the UK to be microchipped from 20 weeks and over. I can do this in your own home for cats and kittens (younger than 20 weeks can also be microchipped). I can register the microchip to you without you having to take your cat to the vets, avoiding unnecessary distress.

Feline behaviour

Cats are definitely not small dogs and as such have their own set of behaviours that confuse us humans. Working with me I can help to reduce unwanted behaviours and look at integrating behaviour techniques, holistic therapies, nutrition and general wellbeing for your cats. A healthy cat is a happy cat.

Complementary/Holistic Therapies

I also offer a range of complementary holistic therapies to enhance your cats wellbeing. At the moment these include Botanical Self Selection (dried herbs, hydrosols, essential oils and nutrition) also called Zoopharmacognosy and Animal Reiki using the Let Animals Lead® method which is focused on a heart to heart connection.

Catisfaction

I am always prepared for any cat grooming needs and ensure that your cat will receive the best care and love. The same is true for my Animal Reiki and Self Selection sessions. These are hands off unless the cat specifically comes over during the session for physical touch. The cats happiness and wellbeing is my priority and I strive to provide a mobile service I would want my own cats to receive. I am fully insured and DBS checked.
